MWVEG (Mt. Washington Valley Eaters and Growers) Food For All is hosting our Farm to Bowl event on August 1st at the Wolfeboro Farmers’ Market (located at the Nick Recreation Park) from noon - 3:30pm. For a $40 donation you can choose a hand thrown pottery bowl, generously donated by local potters, and fill it with soup or a grain bowl. The soups will be made by La Boca in Wolfeboro and The Local Grocer in North Conway and the grain bowls by Berry Bay Workshop in Freedom. They will use the freshest local ingredients donated by some of our MWVEG farm members. Don't want a bowl, just the soup? For $20 we'll be offering soup by the quart to take home for later. (Consider bringing your own container to fill for less waste!)

Food For All fundraisers support bringing local foods to lower income households in and around the Mount Washington Valley. This year MWVEG Food For All awarded $16,500 in vouchers to over 60 households in and around the Mount Washington Valley to purchase farm fresh foods directly from farmers at farmers’ markets, farm stands or through farm CSAs.
